Why Chicken Meal not Chicken in your Pets Food

Ok the whole chicken you just cooked is ready to come out of the oven.Looks great right?Problem is it's 40-50%water.

The definition of chicken meal according to AFFCO(Association of American Feed Control Officials)is the flesh or muscle of a chicken is dryed so that it is only 10% moisture or water. This means that there is the potential to have 90% protein.Chicken meal can come in all different qualities. There can be alot of bone or very little bone.Obliviously the cleaner the chicken the more chicken there is and the more expensive it is.Chicken meal is is such a digestible protein and has a high biodegradable value. What that means is that your dog or cat can use it well to grow muscle, skin, and coat.

Take a good look at your pet after a couple of months feeding them with a that contains chicken meal and not chicken and you will notice the difference.
